Im enjoying watching Jr. be a bit better so far, but what does everyone think about this season to date ( wk 3 ) :)? Id love to see Chevy petition Nascar for use of the Camaro. Mustangs, Camaros and Chargers racing? Sounds good to me.

glad jrs doing good. in the nationwide series they run the mustang and charger. i think they should run them in the cup series and the fusion and charger in the nationwide. camaros would be cool.

Yup. I think it'd be cool to see the Camaro and Mustang battle it out with the Mopar!! What would Toyota use a Prius????

I been following NASCAR for about 25 years. I really miss the days when the cars on the track kinda looked like the cars on the street. I think it's about time to go back to separate templates for each manufacturer and make the templates be close to a real production car.

But that's just me. Go Jr.

Nope , not just you. :)

I would follow Jimmy Johnson....home :)

And Jr!

I get to watch the races when I am work. I hate the off weeks. Good tip days!

My favorite Nascar movie is the documentary Taladega Nights. :D

I've always liked the movie Stroker Ace, probably because Dale Sr. & Neil Bonnett were in it and I always thought Loni Anderson was hot. But then I'm an old guy :)

Love my nascar......Next year they are going to fuel injection and by 2013 will have a more manufacturer specific front end. Ford will then bring the mustang up to the cup series, and dodge the challenger. Chevy has kept mum on what model will be in, only saying they have big plans in place. Everyone assumes the camaro, but we'll see......I guess toyota will keep the camry....funny, go to a toyota dealer and ask to test drive a 2 door camry with a V8......they'll look at ya like you got 2 heads.....

and go Jr. !!! nice to see him turning it around (slowly but surely).

I didnt know about the fuel injection. Probably going to be regulated by Nascar like the restrictor plates. That could be interesting. :) Great Nascar post mjp2

Thanks!

I don't know how much I like the idea of fuel injection in Nascar....I could see it being pretty cool; if they let teams have at it and tune their own motors. However, I think they are gonna regulate it, pretty much give everyone the same engine tune, depending on where they are each weekend. That'll make the aero package (which will now be on the manufacturer) and chassis setup that much more important.

OK! No real secret Im a Jr. fan , but how many times can the 88 finish well but not put the whole thing together? :bang:

Theyve looked good and even great at points this season. Granted 2nd in the points going ino the Easter weekend isnt bad but man. Lets stop knocking on the door and kick that :censored: down already.

How you like that 88 now? Too many stories of this one. Happy Fathers Day. Love it. :D Dominated it but I was nervous all the way

P1 in the points. :chug: A win at Pocono where he shouldve won earlier and another Michigan win would be sweet. :D
