Need the name of a part for my 258

Im new to this sight so im hoping anyone coul help me out here. I just bought a '77 CJ5 with a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l about 2 wks ago. Im trying to figure out what the name of the part is that comes out of the engine block on the drivers side is. The part looks like it has either 3/8" or 1/2" NPT threads into the block an a plastic piece coming out of it with 2 little plastic tubes sticking up from that which 2 vacuum lines were connected to. Sorry I dont have any pics of it. Any help would be extremely appreciated.

and maybe a few more but i think that you are talking about the EGR set up, not the valve itself
but the CTO

Are you talking about a ported vacuum switch, looks like this:
