On the carb adjustment on the nutter bypass do the needles from the stepper motor need to be pushed towards the front of the carb or to the rear? The connector for the motor is not there (previous hack job by po) so just trying to get the carb adjusted. Already rewired ign module and set timing. Thanks.
 
I read that article and see where it states to fully extend the needles. I would suggest you follow that article and see how it works. I got an improvement by adding a remanufactured distributor as they are set to pre-smog ignition advance, plus going to the Team Rush distributor upgrade. If you have air/fuel mixture issues, it would help to change to a Motorcraft carb.
 
Ya I was trying to figure out which direction was fully extended. And I have a mc 2100 coming just wanted to get this working as best as I could till I got all my parts.
