Hey I have a Dana 300 Transfer Case and I am trying to replace the output shaft seals. I was wondering if there are any tips on how to get the seal out and put the new one in without damaging it? I got a seal puller, but the seal will not budge. I dont really care about damaging the old seal, i just dont want to damage the bearing inside.I just dont know if there is a specific tool for this bearing because this seal puller is basically just a hook. I appreciate any input. Thanks.

I just use a big screwdriver or small pry bar to get the old seal out. Use a big socket as your seal driver to install, if you don't have a seal driver kit. If you don't have a socket that big, you can drive it in with just a hammer, but it can be hard to start square. Tap it in easy so you don't bend the seal.

Cool yeah I have a 1 1/2" socket that I can probably use.
