I've got a bad feeling about this one...
In an attempt to improve the shifting in my T-5 , I drained the GL5 gear lube out of it and put in Penzoil Synchromesh....well it officially ran like ABSOLUTE GARBAGE - to the point were I could barely shift. I only drove it about 10 miles.
I made it home, but not before stopping at Napa and getting some GL4 Gear Lube -- drained the Synchromesh, refilled with GL4 85w90 Lube.
Took it for a drive -- it still drives like GARBAGE!! Did I ruin my Transmission or does it just need some time for the GL4 to do it's thing?
What do you think?
