I have a Pro-Jection 2D I bought about 8 or 9 years ago. For the last 2 years I had some problems. I cannot get it to run right, I can get it to run and idol smooth but I have no power, if I tune it to get good power it runs like :dung: and try's to stall, not good for rock crawling. I don't have the (Closed Loop Kit) on it, it ran great for 7 to 8 years with out it.
This is what I have done;

1. I rebuild my AMC 304 about a year ago (stock) did it just because.
2. Replaced my ECU, it went out about a year and a half ago. that fixed my no power to fuel pump issues, and replaced my fuel pump
3. I replaced my temp censer 6 months ago, that fixed my high and random idol problems
4. Replaced the fuel pump twice (with a Holley fuel pump)
5. Tested the (Throttle Position Sensor) per the manual, was a little off.
6. Replaced the fuel regulator about 4 months ago. put a fuel pressure gauge on it and it was bouncing 2 to 3 pound up and down. Still does it after the new regulator
7. Fuel pressure is set to around 17 to 18 psi (not sure where to put it, I think the manual says to have it at 15psi, but I thought I read something it should be set to 20psi.

Everything has helped but its not like my brothers jeep, he has the same system for about 3 years now and his runs smooth and lots of power, same jeep as mine AMC 304 motor auto Transmission ect...

Could it be the injectors? how would I test them,

I think you should start with the fuel delivery system. I assume you have an exterior mounted pump. Setting up these systems can be kinda tricky. The fuel basically has to get siphoned to the pump and the tank has to be vented for this to happen, the pump must be mounted as low as possible to get fuel to it. The pump must get around 14+ volts at operation. The oem return lines are 1/4" which is a bit on the small side, I would recommend at least 5/16" tube. You might want to contact Holley for questions and recommendations.
