Looking for a Disk/Drum Proportioning Valve for a 1981 CJ7 . So far can only find the GM replacement valve. This requires changing the brake line fittings, as I am not good at double flairs I prefer not to use it. Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase the proper one for my jeep? Or where I can get it rebuilt.

I recently got mine from one of the big box outfits, Four Wheel Parts Wholesalers. I believe it was made by Crown. Despite the bad reviews Crown and Omix-Ada get, it works just fine, so far. it was a direct bolt in also. It might be possible to get yours rebuilt also.

Do you have a NAPA near you?
Take you old one in also.

No problem... He has some nice stuff on there. I may do the Chevy brake conversion if I get time this winter.

I'm embarrassed to say this, I have never heard of him before.
He's in my 'list' now.
