I have a 1975 CJ5 with a AMC 304 and the stock Motorcraft 2bbl. carb.. Does anyone know of someone who makes a snorkel kit for this, or know of a link that would show me how to fab up my own. Thanks for any help regarding this matter.

how deep do you plan on going? carbs dont really handle water even with a snorkle, there more for FI systems...to my Limited knowledge any way i thought about it i have a "ram air" system i was thinking about cutting a notch on the passenger hood close to where the fender body hood all meet. but i realize if i got in deep to the carb...i'm toast anyway!!!! keep it at the top of the tires and slow speeds you'll be fine, but they do look cool. if you bought a kit im sure can find bits and peices to make a snorkle fit. :chug: i dont nkow that you would be getting the functions of a true snorkle but maybe...... good luck.

We build them all the time - a quick trip to Ace and a sprayer dealer and you will find what you need. I can go over the windshield with no issues.
