Not sure if the spindle nuts & washers are part of the hub hardware or not, but I ordered a replacement set (see enclosed picture). The washers have a tooth that fits into the spindle groove so that stops them from spinning, but what locks them in place keeping them from backing out?

I had to look it back up slightly different than my Dana 44 so its bearing /washer/ nut /washer/ nut on each axle Vintage Jeep Hub Parts
 
you bend the outside,large, washer to hold the outside nut in place. Or do what I do and locktite the begeebers out of it.:D
