Hi all,

Whenever I push in my clutch, the return spring gives a horrible screech. I think I located the spring on the engine side of the firewall. Any suggestions for the type of grease to make it shut up?

Thanks!

LOL thats got to be loud to hear the one in the engine bay.Do you not also have on on top of the clutch pedal as well? me personally I like the spray stuff and the last one I bought was a Du Pont dry spray film and it worked great on door mechinisms. The dry film will stay around longer than the light weight WD 40......By chance could your squeak be coming from the pedal itself? or the pivot shaft in the engine bay? the occasionally need grease as well :chug:

A good can a spray white lithium grease will do the trick

And like gert said, giving the rest of the pivot points on your clutch a quick spray too will help make sure that you don't have any more squeaks either. :chug:
