another seat question, going to replace the low back seats in my 84 CJ7 with high backs. Looking hard at the corbeau Baja suspension seats. would like opinions of them ,pics and if they fit the CJ brackets or if seat frame fabrication is needed to lower for lower seat height to stay closer to stock height. I have never sat in these seats so buying without trying is kinda chancy, would like a nice comfy ride, for a CJ.

They are very comfortable, with the 6 I have plenty of room and I am not that tall. It does make accessing the tool compartment under the passenger side a bit difficult. Took a tine bit of fab to use the old sliders the PO had used.

I have the fixed back in mine, I can ride in them all day on the trail. One of the best mods I've made.
Can't help you on the mounts though as mine are mounted to my cage.

I think money for money the Mastercraft is a better seat. I just finished this, with reservations.

Thanks for the great info, I will look into the mastercraft seats also.
