The following video is by a guy named Dr. Bob Basso acting as Thomas Paine. Supposedly, since the release of this video, he has been requested (? summoned??) to come to the White house to meet with Obama. Seems Obama was "disturbed" by this presentation.

A talk show host, Jerry Doyle, was contacted by a White house official and told not to discuss this on his show. (Basso was supposed to have been on his show 3/25/09 and was a no show). Doyle ignored the official and played this anyway.

Is Dr. Basso being summoned to the White house for a little friendly intimidation???? It is well worth watching. Enjoy!

I have watched this video before, it is great... Everyone should watch this vid!

BTW - YouTube vids can be embedded in the forums by using the

I tried the UTUBE tag but it didn't work. I did link it after the V= & used the rest of the URL. Tried it twice.

Interesting, I think it had to do with the way the link was copied - I had to paste it into notepad to get rid of the embedded tags, once I did that it worked.

Nonetheless, a great video and really sends home a message as to where our country is right now... Well worth 7 minutes of your time!

Oh yea... I will do something again in 3 years. I will exercise my American right to NOT vote for the people that I do not like and that are killing this country. I hope that by then many that didn't understand what they were doing before will wake up!

You're not alone CJ, I'm right there with you. Great post Rollbar.

I've never understood people who vote because they can, rather than voting for people they actually want.

Come on if all the candidates are :dung:, why vote for the best :dung:, stand up and say this is BS. You think it would get peoples attention if the voting booths are empty!
If you choose to vote and hate all the candidates, that's why they make write-ins.

But I'll stop before I get off on a tangent.

Actually that is perfectly 'on tangent'... I hate it when I hear I voted for *&^% because they were the lesser of two evils! Jeez! Vote for how you feel, not for who you think sucks less!

Yea but voting for a man because he means change, or his skin color is also a bad path to follow. You can research his meaning of change which is going down the same road, just faster. And, many now regret voting for a puppet simply because of his ethnicity or "to be part of history". If we continue to go the limperal direction we are WE (America) will be history. So, I actually voted against the worse evil.

Against the worse evil.

Well said.

Hence the reason I vote, not just climb on the train. To be silent, is to be complacent, is to not resist.

That's not how I roll
