trans issue

alright so went to go for a drive and all the sudden the old lady goes holy $%#*, Transmission fluid is pouring out from the underneath, so i quickly shut it off popped the hood and fluid was coming up out of the dipstick for the automatic Transmission ? so i thought maybe it was cold and needed to warm up before i moved it...not so much same thing happened now it is sitting in the driveway waiting to get fixed, thinking maybe a block in the line? thought i would ask the experts first thanks in advance for any help

i would try flushing it. pull the pan and replace the filter

Does the auto have a vent tube? If so, is it blocked?

gonna do a fluid change this morning when i get home from work, as far as the vent tube didnt see one but a buddy of mine was saying that ti is up by the bellhousing? gonna take a closer look this morning. thanks again fellas. (not for the 17 year old....lol)

sorry it took so long to get back, been busy as hell w work. wound up being water in the Transmission !!! guess thats what i get for driving down the creek! lol, thanks again for ur help.
