Valve adjustment

I Just picked up a 1965 CJ5 willy's with a 4CYL. After rewiring the thing, and installing a new fuel tank. I got to the point of starting the little beast. It fired right up and runs great. There is however alot of valve clatter. I pulled the valve cover to take a look. It has a huge amount of valve lash. Can anybody tell me what the correct lash is?

If its the same engine its intake .018 and exhaust .016.
