weber 32/36 whats going on

i just installed a weber 32/36 on my 85 scramblers straight six with T-5 and it idles great and drives pretty good most of the time the 2 barrel is delayed a little bit but its making my jeep run hotter than before. and my fuel pressure regulator is set a 3 psi and some times when driving it will start surging like its over loading i know its not vapor lock all fuel lines and regulator isn't near heat sources since i fixed that last week also i have 35s which could cause this maybe also the plugs looked somewhat lean to me and when i try to go to low speeds like a crawl it bogs down and stalls if i dont give it gas or pull the clutch in and im going to HEI pretty soon another thing sometimes its a little hesitant at first when you let out of the clutch from a dead stop and i have 355 gears with my 35s but will be going to 456 when i get the money.
