I have read on another forum that the White Shepherd brand of oil stop leak is "supposedly" the best on the market and actually works for all kinds of things from leaky valve covers to seeping differentials.

Has anybody actually used this product? Does it really stop leaks in engines, trannys, and diffs??

I'm no help as I've never heard of it, but I have never used any sealers.
IMO if it leaks ,fix the leak with a new seal or gasket.;)

Biggest problem with ANY stop leak is that cause your seals to expand. They stop the leak, but when the seal wears again, leak on! :(

Agreed. In an ideal situation, it always make sense to replace the seals/gaskets. However, if the claims are true that this stop leak stuff can end a leak for a year or two, then it could be a good possibility if a rebuild/seal replacement is not immediately possible.

BUT, does the stuff actually work as claimed??? Also, I heard that Lucas Oil is now making a similar stop leak...
