As alot of you know Ive been on a diet for awhile now. Ive been reluctant to share the actual loss up until now. I have hit my first goal. In January I was tipping the scales at a severly unhealthy 254 lbs.

Thats when I decided I really needed change my diet. It was nothing for me to sit in front of the Tv and polish off a bag of chips for a "snack". Fruits and vegetables were practically non existent in my diet. Excersize? Same thing only take out the "practically" to be more precise.

Well today Im happy to have achieved my first goal. Wieghed in today at 223. The first 30 lbs of fat is gone. :) My diet has changed pretty dramatically and Ive actually found fruits and vegetables I really enjoy. Between bike riding and wieght lifting Im averaging 180 minutes of moderate excersize a week. The number of minutes itself has continued on a steady upward trend.

Im starting to really feel the benefits now. I count calories and physical activity using the website below. Next goal is to drop below 200. I hope to do so by the end of July. Its been alot of work , but its paying off. Just had to share.

Congrats! Your health is your life! You have done well and it won't be long until you reach your goal.

great job we all know you will hit your goal

Every year we use to play biggest looser at my shop after the holidays starting on Jan 1 to April 1. Everybody put $20 in a pot and the biggest looser won. It was fun and everyone that was serious, lost weight. Most of the players kept up their diet after the game was over. The last year we played the winner won $800, and that guy won it two years in a row and has kept the weight off. I guess my point is WAY TO GO. In my world, I am Bullet Tooth Price, and you are Skinny Pete:)

That's great. Have you noticed having any more energy now than you had before? Keep it up!

Thanks. For some reason it was so much easier putting it on than taking it off though. :D

Yes I definately feel more energetic. I used to have shortness of breath at times as well. Now I can ride the bike for about an hour and my heartrate isnt sky high. :)

Switch to drinking just water or juice and cut out all tea, soda, and coffee and watch 20lbs drop off.
I'm a big fan of Isometric exercise I mean you carry around your body eveyday, that's more than enough weight to work out with.

I eat tons of food, pretty much all day long grazing on something, however it's all healthy food, no cakes, pie, candy bars, etc. Just real food, meat, fruit, veggies, dairy, etc.
I eat whole weat breads, pasta's, etc. Between good food, grazing, water, and Isometric exercise I maintain a healthy 200lb weight, most think I weigh 170 - 180.

Great job Pete.
My weight is like a homing pigeon. Every time I lose it, it eventually finds me and comes back!

I think my diet change was a huge factor. Ive given up everything fried and take in a ton more veggies and fruits. Chicken is a bigger staple in my diet as well. I just cant give up the beer though. :)

Great job Pete.
