Window seals

Does anyone know how to replace the outer window seals on the full CJ doors? I have the replacements, but am not sure how to go about replacing them. There are clearly clips on the weather strip, but not sure if I just pull hard to remove old ones and if there are any tricks to installing new.

No real tricks, pull straight up to get them out, just take your time and do one clip at a time. Don't use pliers or anything like that if you can help it, if you ruin the holes for the clips the new one's won't stay in. Same for install, one clip at a time, I started at the back of the door and worked toward the vent window. The holes in the door are just far enough down that you can't see them with the weatherstrip installed . I do remember it was a lot easier to do this with the window rolled down though
