any one know if a windshield of a wrangler fit to a 1985 CJ7 or what windshield fit to a CJ7 i need to replace my windshield but before go for a new one i like to see if i can find a used one
maybe a windshield from a Jeep tj or a Jeep Wrangler

But seriously, the early "Wrangler" 87'to 95' are the same as 76' to 86' CJ's.

CJ5 , CJ7 & CJ8 are all the same.

Make sure you dont grab one from a earlier CJ5 . They are different. Stay with 76 and up just to be sure. I cant remember the exact year they changed.

Not exactly ,but either will work. The 87 to 95 version has a rail that inserts over the tailgate. That rail is used to clip the rear window down. The tailgate on the 87 -95 models opens from the outside and opens sideways so the rail keeps the window in place for tailgate only access.

When used on a Cj you have to open the zippers on each side enough to get your hand in there and unlatch your tailgate. I have the 87-95 on mine and its just a minor inconvenience. With that style you can get the sailcloth style which is supposed to be quieter.
