wiper linkage

I have a 1979 CJ5 and would like to cross over to the yj wiper Transmission or linkage and wiper arm and wipers. The ones they sell for the CJ5 are junk and want to upgrade. I was told that it is possible because the yj Transmission is the same as the cj except the part the wiper arm goes on. What does anyone know about it and if it will work

I found a linkage at a wrecking yard close by so I am going to go down there with our linkage and size them up. I will post back here when I do that. I found one for a lot less on eBay so if their the same I will buy that one.
