Wiring Issues With New Engine Swap. . .

Just swapped a different AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l engine in my 80 CJ5 , and the old setup had the starter solenoid mounted on the fender with a couple solid powers for the starter and alternator, and a small red wire and a small light blue wire. The new starter has a solenoid on the starter and is designed much simpler, but I don't know where the light blue wire is supposed to go. Any ideas what it needs? My best guess is that it is switched power and would go with the small red wire on the switched power stud. . . In the manual it shows the wire heading to the ignition inside the cab, but no specifics. I need help!

the new one might work with the later relay and you should have your large wire off the battery and a smaller trigger wire coming from the ignition switch/relay i am not aware of any starter needing more than two wires to work
