wiring question got some major bugs i think

So I just bought a 1980 CJ7 a couple weeks ago running lights all work head lights and tail lights..... But they wired in some AutoZone tail lights my turn signals and breaks do not work at all.... All the fuses had been replaced with much larger than called for fuses I replaced then all with the right size none of them have blown out but my Speedo and oil pressure gauge stopped working, and now when I press the break pedal or turn the lights on the right turn signal indecatior on the dash will light up ???? Oh and also I have no dash lights.... Any ideas and maybe a good website or post I could find a wiring diagram that tells me colors and ECT. Of dash wires and tail light wiring

My '80 CJ7 did some unusual but good things after I reworked the ground system. The MC2100 elec choke started working, I got back some indicator lights around the speedo panel, and now ALL my lights are bright enough to be seen in bad weather.

Search this site for "Jeephammer", who writes extensively and well on electrical system maintenance or, in my case, restoration.

Thanks alot guys I found the jeephammer posts very interesting he knows his stuff I think im gonna run through all the wires and make some new grounds. And thanks for the link also that will be helpful
