Okay so I bought this 77 AMC 304 CJ7 just recently, and from the diagrams I am looking at the PCV valve looks like it is plugged off. Now I haven't noticed any serious problems that have been listed, but as far as I can tell this is rather serious.

1. Why has it still been running okayish (stalling)?

2. Where do the hoses go to once the valve is in?

Thanks guys

p.s. I think the manifold vacuum is plugged too, and the EGR CTO seems to run just right back into itself, and needless to say, the EGR valve is not hooked up, no spark CTO switch . . . do i need to go on, if I am looking at this all right.

The PCV evacuates the crankcase, it should be plugged into the large vacuum port on the manifold.

The vacuum advance should be plugged into the ported line coming off of the carburetor.
