Hey all, looking for fuel door ideas for my 1980 CJ7 -yj tub swap. Bought the jeep partially complete. 304V8 Laredo at one time. Need to cover the left hole that is used on a yj for fuel filler door. Checkerplate corners or stock yj license plate bracket? Or do you have a better solution? Thanks. Here is a couple of pictures.

I have a TJ license plate mount on my CJ, I think they look rather good and clean on the older Jeeps. Plus it'll cover up the YJ fuel hole.

I'll post of picture of how I'm doing mine when I get to the haus to pick up the camera I left this morning.

I'm using the corner protectors to hide the hole on the drivers side (gonna slather the fuel hole cut out and protector with Herculiner to stop the grime from getting between the two and causing a future problem) and I'll cut the correct fuel placement in the protector for the passenger side. I marked 'em from the inside and now it's time to cut 'em. Maybe today when I get home from the office.
