Yesterday I bought a CJ5 off craigslist for $500.00. It was left at a garage and the owner never returned. it has a fiberglass body (i thought that was a good thing until i researched the vin) and a myers snow plow. After looking up the vin i think i might have a surviving 1967 cj5a Tuxedo Park IV. some of the chrome is still there bumpers, latches, mirror, etc. it has a glove box door, winshild wipers on the top. heater controls mounted on pass side, but still there. it is not a three on the tree anymore. Spent a few hours looking them up, but there is not a lot of info out there. so here are some pics what do you guys think. firewall tag reads 8322 a 170**

Hi jhnetsale, and welcome! You're right, a prefix of 8322 is the CJ5 -A Tuxedo Park Park model. Unfortunately, rust probably took it out. and not much was left. Too bad you didn't have all of the "oddball" parts they came with, like the bench seats, column shift, or badging. Hope you still got a good base to build on though. :chug:

I miss my 65 tux, had all the chrome and the hub caps and all, watched it commit suicide going over a ledge because I forgot to adjust the parking brake the night before. Love that thing and redo it to the max. it is a true one of a kind.

after getting some tires and adjusting the clutch the jeep is driving. As for stopping that is still up to gravity. After talking with some local jeep guys I decided to put it up for sale in hopes that someone will want to resore this very rare jeep. It deserves to be completely restored and I already have the next three projects I am restoreing 1979 conv beetle ready to paint/1968 camaro ready to assemble/and grandpals 1969 elcamino nothing done to it yet. on the bright side if no one buys I will be doing the full restoration. either way I want to make sure she does not get parted out. here is a new video YouTube - jepp

That was a sweet find! Too bad that it dosnt have the original tub. I would love to see the thing restored to original. Keep us posted.

Watched the first video the battery fall was kinda classic. (Done that myself).
