1976 CJ5 trans crossmember

Anyone built their own crossmember, The one I have on my CJ does not appear to be the original one, the PO had it welded to the frame, I am in the process of rebuilding my CJ and was thinking of building my own. If anyone has done this could you send me some pics, I have an idea of what I am gonna build but just looking for ideas

The best I have seen is where guys use a flat steel plate across the frame rails to protect the Transmission and Transfer Case . This requires at least a Transfer Case rotate.

Built many of them............but all will normally be purpose built for the application.
