While my business focus has been on Toyotas I've owned Jeeps before, last being a 350TPI YJ. I've just purchased a CJ5 project and am picking it up next week then get to work finishing it so I can get back in the Jeep world too.

It's a 68k mile vehicle that has undergone an extensive restoration with no expense spared, just needs paint on the new steel and finish the assembly. The hardest part will be deciding on a color! Everything is new including the steel. Engine/Transmission /axles have been freshened up, new seals, bearings, etc. New covers on the engine and external stuff... alternator, radiator starter and on and on. Just need to wire it (probably a Centech harness), paint and assemble. Should be fun.

I'll be posting up more details over the next few weeks.

Welcome to the madness. :chug:

What model/year Harley???

Welcome, I'm liking the anvil. CJ is looking good as well.

That looks just like the fender of my '05 Road King. Nice looking Jeep project too. I am envious. I'm just beginning and couldn't dream of jumping into a mid-point rebuild like this; I'd freak out!
