1979 jeep cj7 wiring questions

does my 79 CJ7 have a computer? ok i picked up a new engine for my cj from someone who had it in an 83 cj. same motor and everything except i think his cj had a computer because the wiring harness on the new engine has two plugs that look like they go into a computer. now i don't think there is but i just wanted to see if there is like a hidden one? and if there isn't is it possible to get a computer from an 83 cj and put it in mine? or is that not possible?

could be ECM (engine control module) plugs. Are they round??

i'll get pics when it stops raining and i have the round plugs for the ecm but these plugs are like long and white. and there are 2 of them.
