1980 CJ fuel injection

Ok I have to run to work, but any help would be great. I will respond later. We live in the glorious state of CA. My dad has a 1980 Jeep CJ7 that has been upgraded to fuel injection. After being smogged multiple times since 1999 my dad did not smog it for a couple years due to a sickness in the family. I runs super clean and passes every test, but now they are saying the MOPAR sticker only covers 1981 and up. Crazy!!!!!!!!! Is there anyone out there educated on looking up CA Executive Orders......HELP NEEDED

Your best bet is to call Hesco and see what they say, unless your Dad went the JY route, the kit likely came from them. Not all smog places understand that sticker, how to read it and how to test it. If you are in SoCal I can recommend a shop that does.

I when through this afew years ago with a different vehicle, my parts had a CARB numbers and the smog station failed it for the parts. So I went to the CARB website downloaded the info I needed to get to pass a then went to a referee station ( I think they are call gold star stations now) and they passed it.
This one of many reasons I left the nanny state.
