When Robert Johnson rescued his Scrambler from a junkyard, he had a company called A Little 4x4 Company build it for 42-inch Super Swamper Iroks. They seemed big—for a while.The ’82 Jeep Scrambler came standard with a 205/75R15 tire. That works out to 27 inches tall. Optional 235/75R15 tires bumped the overall diameter to just shy of 29 inches. But when Robert Johnson rescued his Scrambler from a junkyard, he had a company called A Little 4x4 Company build it for 42-inch Super Swamper Iroks. They seemed big—for a while. Then during a trip back to Roger Little’s shop in Chaparral, New Mexico, Robert saw a set of 47-inch LTBs and the next round up upgrades was on.
