Hello All:
I ordered and took delivery of my 1984 Jeep CJ7 Renegade in 1983. I drove it for about 10 or so years, then it sat in a garage for the last 21 years. Back in May I got the itch to get it back on the road, with the idea of driving it before the snow begins to fall here in Rochester NY. Here's what it currently looks like:

The only work visible in this picture is the new tires and painted wheels.
It does have the usual surface rust (and a few small holes), about what you would expect for a jeep that was driven in a salt bath for 10 winters.
I think I am about 10 days from getting the engine to start. I'll post some more progress pics. I started from the back, working on the gas tank, then the rear brakes, front brakes, shocks, and now I am finishing up in the engine compartment. My goal is to be able to drive around a little bit before the weather turns to here. Then next spring I'll start to take it apart and do a thorough restoration on it. I've already gotten a lot of good information from this forum, and decided to hopefully add to the information here and not just be a lurker.
