I will be installing a 2 1/2 inch suspension lift in the future. Will I need a different Pitman Arm with this lift. 83 CJ7 with Power Steering.

I'm doing almost the same thing on my 3b and from what was told I wouldn't need to change pit-man arm but it may also depend on the lift

You don't have to worry about te pitman arm until you get up to around 4 inches. 2.5" you will be ok with the stock arm.

How much of a dif in handling will I see if I go to a 4in drop pitman arm?
I have a 5in suspension lift and it still has the straight original arm.

It will correct your sttering geometry, If you have a really bad wander, it will help with that. How bad is you steering now?

A 3B as a very dif steering system and does not use a pitman arm like a later CJ.

It is 10x better than when I got this a few weeks ago.New steering shaft and column bushing. But has more of a wandering than the jerking than it did.
My step dad told me to get a lowered arm and a new dampener(he used to own a few parts stores and sold lots of both)Actually it seems to move back and forth just a little.
Got to get the steering down decent before I start on anything else.
Thanks for all info in advance
