Hey everyone, I have a 48' willys with a Buick 225 oddfire v6. I have been working on this project for several years, starting way back in high school. As it stands now I have the rebuilt engine running and the jeep driving, however It doesn't feel like it has that low end power that is should have (comparing it to my 1942 ford jeep with a 198 Dauntless Buick 225 V6 ). Oddly one of the symptoms I have encountered is that after running for 5-10 minutes the drivers side exhaust manifold is much warmer than the passenger side manifold. Is this suggesting that I have a carborator issue? I have a Holly 500 2 bbl on it at the moment. Is this correct? What should I use? Am I even barking up the right tree?

Help please!

it sounds to me like the carb is out of tune, probly lean on the side that is hotter than the other, could be wrong but thats what it sounds like to me

May also want to pull the plugs and check condition, as they can tell you alot. Has the Holley 500 been in place for long?
