- 1977 CJ 7; Amc 401 .30 over, Howell TBI, modified Dana 20 with Terra Low gears and twin sticks, NV 4500 5-speed, modified Dana 30 and Amc 20 both with 4.56 gears (narrow track), ARB air lockers front and rear, SSBC rear disc brake conversion, MICO Brake park brake, Navaho brake booster/ master cylinder, PowerTank CO2 tank.
That is were my shoulder strap is attached.

- 1982 Jeep CJ-7 350 Chevy V-8, SM-465 4-speed trans, Dana 300 Twin Stick, Narrowed and locked GM 14 bolt rear, Narrowed and locked Dana 44 front, 38.5" Super Swampers. Fiberglass tub. 6 point roll cage.
It should be a rather simple operation. Just get a measurement where on the roll bar you would like to have it attached, and drill a hole in the bar big enough to weld a nut that fits the seat belt bolt into.
What I used to do when I built roll cages at my last job at a fab shop, was to drill trough the cage with a 1/2" drill bit, the open the outside hole up to 3/4", then weld a sleeve into the cage and run a 1/2" grade 8 bolt through the seat belt and the cage. That way it had the most support in the event of a roll-over or head-on. Just my .02.
