35 on 15x8

I currently have 35 on 15x10 and they look thin and tall. On my sport bike for track days, I run a slightly wider tire, just turns in slower. Can I safely run my 35's on an 8 inch rim without causing uneven wear on the tires? Will they balloon more? The current setup, the sidewalls are flat. Thanky!

It depends on the width of the tire. Look up the manufacturer web site.
For example the BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2 in size 35x12.5r15 can use a rim size from 8.5" to 11".
