Hi Guys
i found a 383 out of a 69 charger that i was thinking of dropping in the ol Cj.
It has a 727 behind it. I can get the shaft and output from an FSJ to mate it to my Dana 300 but heard there's issues with front driveshaft clearance.. Any ideas?
Would a chevy small block and advance adapter to my TF999 be a better route?

Thanks

With a 383 that jeep should fly. A call to Advance Adapters should get you the answers and mounts you would need.
This sounds like a cool project. :)
Everybody has a chevy small block.

And don't forget the airhorns that play dixie.:D

Go for the 383 thatwould be real cool :chug:

Rock on bro!

LOL it's a real CJ7 notice the horn grills on the front.
Yes it plays DIXIE.

The 383 / 727 combo for sure! Also a full write up on the conversion must ensue.
