Howdy,
I just rebuilt an amc AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l for my 85 CJ7 . I got the motor installed and when I went to prime the oil pump, it hits prime (drill loads up) and I pumped oil out of the pressure sender hole I forgot to plug. After I plugged the sender hole I continued to spin the pump and it felt normal but I didn't see any oil coming out of my pushrods to lubricate the rockers. Is it possible I used to much assembly lube? Is this even a problem? How should I fix this? Any help would be much appreciated.
