Pretty simple build. Fun rig since everyone like to tell me I should share it thought I would shoot you guys some pictures finally to see if some old sheet metal with four angry squirrels under the hood comes close to decent material. Enough guys on the IFSJA page have pm’d me and told me to share the thread and some pictures so here you go the abbreviated story with a link to the full thread. Basically when you got in the rig it had an element of looking like it might have almost been stock. It was an easy build

Cherokee S Chief WT

Interior is all original Bucket seats, stock black & grey 79 interior, manual tailgate conversion.

Was a AMC 401 9.8:1 motor with a 750 edelbrock, air gap intake crane HMV272 cam GM Turbo 400 /QT then came a NV4500 Dana 300 swap. That motor ran fantastic could pass everything but a gas station …. until the day a cam bearing spun then I had an excuse to do the unthinkable and stuck a rattling tin can with 4 angry squirrels under the hood.
