65 CJ Belt

Like I said in my other post new to jeeps, working on them myself let alone old one.

So my new jeep (new to me) of a few days
the belt on the fan is really in bad shape so I know I could order one online from somewhere, but I thought I would try and get one sooner.

I go to the auto part store so they don't have them in stock so they tell me to bring it up and they will match it up.

so I bring it in and ask the guy if he could match it up and says what kind of mower does it go on, I said a old jeep and he said they don't carry them that wide but they had a mower/generator belt that was a very close match.

so I ordered one and it will be in later today.

will there be a problem using a mower belt

I don't know if it would be as strong, but if it works I would order the right one to have on hand.

Take that back picked up the mower/utility belt
what a joke did not even come close to working
so I ordered one from here
