recently purchased my g/f an 69 CJ5 with an 225 v-6 cranks an idles but dies when you hit the gas, i took it apart to rebuild it.. needles to say i dnt think its been off since 1969 its nasty... cant even get the powervalve out so ive been searching for a replacement carb but a few guys have told me to go to a low cfm 4barrell holley an get an adapter?? im thinking this is waaay to much fuel... considering it has an small 2barrell rochester. any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :chug:

Dont have much to offer experience wise, but i did a google search for : best carb for 69 225 v6 and got a few links worth reading for you while u wait for somebody better with those motors than me...

Also, i assume you could either rebuild it if rebuildable or swap a mc2100 on it. Those are pretty easy carbs to tune and do well off road...
