73 CJ5 with chevy tilt steering colum

Just picked up ths Jeep a couple months ago and this is my first. I know the Jeep was converted to power steering and front disc brakes, but is a swap to a chevy steering colum a common change over? Any idea what chevy colum they use for this swap? Out of what and what Years? Any special thing needed to do this?

Any help and info is appreciated. Just trying to learn as much as possible about the workings of this Jeep.

There is no telling what it came out of but almost all mid size Chevy columns are the same or very similar. And - yes it is a very common swap, harder to do in 72 ~ 75 CJ's though.
