'75 CJ5 replacement steering box: Anybody used these?

I have a rebuilt Cardone in my CJ that I purchased from a local N.A.P.A., that seems to be fine. My other option was getting the original box rebuilt by a shop for a few more $. It did make an improvement in the steering, everything else has already been replaced.

I have a napa rebuild in mine as well. Good price no leaks and no free play. Steering box Bolts can be a biatch to get out, I sprayed them for 2 days and still was tough.

There is some 30ish year old lock tite on these bolts. Get a good six sided wrench/socket and bear down. Heat is an option if you are going to be replacing anyway. Makes it a lot easier. The stuff in there is highly flammable, have an extinguisher handy!!:chug:
