Two inch shackle extension equals a one inch suspension lift. This will affect your steering castor and could possibly effect your steering.
Why just a one inch lift? What are your trying to accomplish?

more room for my tires . i will just get a new lift kit and not do the shackels its not worth doing that small lift any way . thank you for the info 
Like Cj said shackle lifts can really mess with your handling. If its tire clearance your looking for and dont mind cutting the body a little Tj flares work good.

I do not like shackles for reasons above. I cheap and easy way to gain a couple of ins is a add-a-leaf.
