Build Thread 80 cj 5

Right before Thanksgiving my old friend offered me his 1980 CJ5 . He bought the vehicle in 1981 with 6K on it. Jeep had 98k when I bought it. It ran decent but the exterior was never a priority. I could not pass up the price of 1500.
I took it home, changed the fluids, pvc system, rebuilt carb, stripped and painted bumpers, rebuilt tilt steering column, new tires, painted rims. Originally had white rims and white sidewall tires.
Next job new suspension bushings, shocks and body bushings.

Thanks. I think I'll keep it pretty stock except for aftermarket shocks and bushings.
