Hey Guys,
Trying to find the right locking hubs for my 1981 CJ5 . Will any 27 spline/5 bolt hub work, or is there something else I should be looking for?
Thanks!
Josh

The five bolt milemarker hubs are superior in design to the standard 5 bolt Warn hubs. I have them on my 76 CJ5 , which has the disc brake setup from an 84 CJ. The six bolt Warn hubs are their Premium hubs, and are good hubs.

However, to prevent issues, it is best to either go with hub studs or the Stage8 locking system.

The OEM, Warns couldn't hold up to the DL that I have in the front.
Went to MM many years ago, and no issues at all.
X2 on going with studs......;)

So which is better / stronger, the studs or Stage8 locking system?

I prefer studs, and they are way cheaper.
Use AN washers, and 'pinched' locking nuts.

Ive had no problems with the stage 8. Ran my jeep for 500 miles with the hubs locked to break the gears in. They haven't moved any
