83 CJ-7 Brake lights and hazards lights dont work

My 83 CJ7 Brake lights and hazards lights dont work. I already checked the bulbs and fuses. I can't find any broken wires. The turn signals work and the normal running lights. But, for the life of me I can't figure out why the brakes and hazard lights aren't working?

Had similar problem with my 83 CJ7 ,I had put diamond plate on my corners and reused the old rusted selftapers to attach the rear lights, some times lights worked other times nothing... problem was bad ground. tapers were to short. replaced w/ longer bigger tapers and proplem went away. Check the ground!

when in doubt, ground it out. ive found that works on a lot of electrical problems on my jeep
