Hello Everyone,
I'm new to the forum and to 4x4'ing in general. After planning a JK rebuild for sometime, I've come to the realization that I don't have the $$$ to do what I wanted to do.

And wouldn't you know my wife convinced me to take a look at this 84' CJ as a possible contender....

When I say I'm new to 4x4'ing, I mean it's been 10 years since I've been under the hood of any vehicle except to check the washer fluid. And that is where this thread comes into play... I am going to document not just the changes I do to the jeep, but everything I learn and expirence along the way to my goal of being able to do all (or mostly all.... not including fabrication ) my own work on everything from bumper to bumper.

I will appreciate any and all feedback!!! Please don't hesitate to send your thoughts my way public or private.

Cheers,

Sounds good, lets see some pics of the unsuspecting patient. Welcome aboard.
I didn't think jk's needed rebuilt. They are so new and aren't they made out of plastic?:D
You will get the full Jeep experience working on a CJ, the quintessential Jeep. But be careful not to bite off more than you can chew in one mouthful.
