I have an 84 cj7 and a 72 dodge challenger and a 80 ford f150 pick up and a 02 tacoma, more to come
This is an 84 CJ7 Laredo that I paid $2500 and maybe alittle high but is very solid,,needs floor pans and paint, and minor body work,it is a 2.5 AMC 150 4 cyc with 5 speed tranny,,do you think I paid to much? I am going to do a complete restore on this jeep.

Looks great I'd say it was a good buy from what I can see. I own an 84 CJ7 GM 151 with a T-5 tranny also. I am in the midle of changing my motor out and putting in a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l I6 there is nothing wroung with my GM 151 I just wounted MORE POWER:chug: and I thought if I'm going to get bad gass milage I mite as well get more power for my $3.75 per gallen. I did put in a nother T-5 with it thow 4.10's on the road mite need that extra gear. remember If you decide to upgrade your motor you have to do the tranny also 4 cylender tranny has 21 splines 6 & 8 cylender's have 18 splines FYI I found out the hard way. Good Luck let us Know how it is going and take lots of pics.

Yep I agree looks good to me I say drive it for awhile then restore it :chug:

That really looks really good for the money. I just put a AMC 150 long block in mine and am really pleased. According to what I read, the 6 cyl only has 10 more horse power and adds 100 lbs to the weight.

The only thing I like better about the 6 is parts availability.

$2500 doesnt seem too bad for that Jeep being you want to restore it and it is a Laredo ;). Nice option , just wonder why a 4 banger?
