86 cj7 help

i was wondering if a 86 CJ7 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l motor was the only one that used the loger pushrods of about 9.7 inches or so doing a head swap and misplaced the original pushrods and the ones i pick up are too short any help would greatly be appriciated thank you
