I have a 1986 CJ7 and the blower switch went bad. Does anyone have one of these or know where I can get one. It is the factory air setup. the switch is a rotary, 3-position switch and has five terminals.

Any help is appreciated.

I havent checked lately but dosent 4wd have it in their resto section...also check with Collins bros they sell the whole ac systems :chug:

I hate to say it...you may have to go through the dealer to get one :(

I think the switch you looking for is the one on the right? I think the knobs in my CJ7 have been swapped.

I am curious if you A/C system is similar.

I did some research on-line but have not been able to source the switch. I have to go back to my first reply and guess you will need to talk to your local Jeep dealer to find what you need.

Good Luck............

CJ, I'm not sure that is the correct switch. The factory A/C has another 3 position switch down on the A/C ducting, right next to the A/C temp control.

That is a great Web site that I am going to add to my Favorites.
No problem -

Still not sure what A/C means for a CJ though!

Hear what you are saying. I am giving some serious thought about using parts of my system for On-board Air.
